THE WAY

OF THE SEASONS

Are you ready to return to your natural rhythm and restore your creative potential?

Join our seasonal program to help transition through your creative cycles and begin living from a place of abundance rather than burnout.

Do you feel blocked or burnout? Unable to find pleasure in your work or connected to a sense of purpose?

The way of the seasons is a practical 4-stage program, integrating Chinese medicine, Jungian Psychology and our ancient Celtic connection to seasons and cycles of nature to help you cultivate your creative purpose and potential.

Just like nature itself, everything that is alive follows regular seasons and cycles of growth and decline. Healthy creation transitions through a periods of rest, inspiration, accumulation and release. Through transformational teachings, mind-body practices and supportive guidance our goal is to help you tune into your inner wisdom, to support your natural potential, to achieve a balanced and enriched life.

Each season coincides with a 3-month immersive online program listed below:

Spring

25th March

£40 (£30 Early Bird)

THE SEASON OF AWAKENING DREAMS

· Are you struggling to find inspiration or direction?
· Is your life or work lacking ease, pleasure or spontaneity?
· Are you feeling angry or frustrated by limitations that are holding you back?
· Do you feel like you need an energetic boost after an extended period of stagnation?

To coincide with Spring Equinox, the season of maximum fertility, we are hosting a spring immersion to bring about a rebirth of your personal power and capacity to carry life into the world. The workshop will integrate movement, meditation, making and contemplation to transition through spring with ease and vitality.

The aim is to walk away from the workshop with a taster of what it feels like to

(1) Embrace pleasure and play to reawaken our senses to new possibilities in times when dreams may have been forgotten

(2) Gather motivation and momentum by alchemising anger and desire into powerful forces of transformation

(3) Find discipline and direction by planning and prioritising the components for success.

Spring is a fertile season to honour new beginnings and our innate human capacity to create. It awakens the sense of freedom, pleasure, purpose and direction in us. It is a time where we are able to write the story of the life we dream of. Although many of us hear the call of our inner desires and dreams, it is often difficult to find the path forward to our own awakening.

– Move: Embodied movement practices to dissolve the deeply held tension in the body that keeps us frozen

– Meditate: Yoga nidra to meet your dreams and awaken the neurological and physiological connections that will make your dreams a reality

– Make: Accessible creative exercises to embolden the inner artist of your life

– Contemplate: Traditional Celtic and Daoist teachings on how to stay in harmony with the seasons

OUR 50:50 PROMISE TO THE ARTS

Creative expression is an essential part of human nature and it is important to me that house of theta is able to support the creative resilience of all without discrimination.

Some have the financial stability to invest in themselves but are unfamiliar with creative practice. Others have deep wells of creative inclination but lack the financial means to support it. Financial security and creative capacity feed each other. But at a time when world needs the bright ideas and visions from the creative community most, funding and employment for the arts is being pulled away.

We therefore promise to offer half of all our places on programs and retreats half price to struggling artists. If you have the means, know that you are supporting the creative growth of those that don’t and building a richer more creative community to be part of.

Vaila’s energy is pure magic. She brings you right back down to earth. She craftfully  weaves in natural elements helping you connect to the natural world around you and feel at peace. With her wisdom and patience, she supported me through one of the most difficult experiences in my life. Vaila is not just a meditation or yoga teacher – she is a big, kind, genuine heart that gives generously.

Meeting Vaila marks a breakthrough moment in my life. Her words and guidance were amongst the first seeds planted that enabled a journey of self healing and discovery. Her way of relating us each back to nature resonated on such a deep level that I finally understood that I needed and deserved to rest. So simple.. and yet life changing when we live in a society so fixated by productivity. Her voice and way is so gently commanding as she effortlessly seems to weave wisdom and hold space for whatever needs to flow within.
